As Vice President of Sales at The IT IQ, Michael Brinton brings over 20 years of experience driving revenue growth, developing high-performing teams, and delivering strategic technology solutions for enterprise and public sector clients. He leads all aspects of sales strategy, partner development, and go-to-market execution, helping customers adopt advanced network and security solutions that support their long-term digital transformation goals.

Michael plays a key leadership role in shaping The IT IQ’s vision—guiding both revenue operations and customer success. His work spans sales enablement, solution design, business development, and the integration of emerging technologies like AI into the sales process. Under his direction, The IT IQ is transforming how organizations engage with services such as Network as a Service (NaaS), SASE, SD-WAN, ZTNA, and Adaptive Network Security.

Before joining The IT IQ, Michael spent 13 years at Lumen Technologies, where he earned three Circle of Excellence (COE) awards and built a reputation as a trusted advisor and top performer in global enterprise sales. He is Zoom, Cisco, and Fortinet certified, and known for his ability to align technology strategy with real-world business needs.

In addition to leading customer-facing initiatives, Michael is actively developing new product innovations—including a compact, portable data cabinet designed for fast and efficient edge deployments. He’s passionate about delivering value, building lasting partnerships, and inspiring teams to exceed expectations.
